The Coffee Academïcs Turns 4: Crafting Local Brews to Perfection

The Coffee Academïcs Turns 4: Crafting Local Brews to Perfection

At ASHTA District 8, we’ve always believed that coffee should be more than a caffeine fix; it should be a craft. And when The Coffee Academïcs first opened their doors here four years ago, that belief turned into a cup.

This year, as they celebrate their 4th anniversary in Indonesia, TCA is doing what they do best, which is pushing the boundaries of local coffee culture while staying grounded in quality, creativity, and yes, really good beans.

And what’s a celebration without a little collaboration? To mark the moment, TCA has teamed up with Fever Tree, MilkLab, and Andros to create a limited-edition lineup of drinks that are anything but ordinary.

Here’s what’s brewing:

Colombia Gesha & Ethiopia Yirgacheffe: The refined one.

This hand-brewed brew is the coffee version of fine art. Light, floral, and aromatic, it delivers layers of jasmine, bergamot, and stone fruit—all tied together with a silky texture and a dried flower garnish. A tribute to the origins that started it all.

Cherry Coffee Granita: The summer in a cup.

Or rather, in a spoon. Icy layers of bold espresso, creamy coconut milk, and juicy Andros Cherry Chunky come together for an indulgent yet refreshing treat. It’s bold, sweet, and made to be savored.

Orange Bitter Cold Brew: The crisp, citrusy one.

Fever Tree’s Indian Tonic Water brings a bold, bitter twist to the classic cold brew. Finished with orange zest and rosemary, this drink packs flavor with just the right amount of edge.

Earl Grey Coffee Milk Brew: The smooth talker.

Think of your favorite latte, now make it tea-infused and plant-based. This comforting brew blends coffee with Earl Grey and MilkLab’s creamy milk for a bold yet gentle sip with notes of bergamot and elegance.

Here’s to Four Years of Brewing with Intention

From bean to brew, The Coffee Academics has never been about shortcuts. Each cup is a reflection of their promise to craft with care, whether it’s a hand-brewed classic or a limited-edition surprise.

So next time you walk into ASHTA, drop by The Coffee Academïcs. Try the collab drinks while they last, and raise a cup to four years of flavor, finesse, and local creativity done right.
