Journey into Sustainability by Liberty Society
At the intersection of lifestyle and purpose, ASHTA District 8 presents ARTCYCLE, featuring “Journey into Sustainability” by Liberty Society in collaboration with MOP Beauty. Running from 17 April to 17 May 2026, this immersive experience invites visitors to explore the evolving narrative of waste in Indonesia—transforming awareness into meaningful action.

Anchored by the reality of Bantar Gebang, the installation reframes waste not as an endpoint, but as a beginning. Through compelling visual storytelling, everyday materials—banners, textiles, plastics, and organic waste—are reimagined into functional creations. A striking Tyvek ceiling installation mirrors the landscape of landfill mounds, offering both a powerful visual and a moment of reflection.

Designed as an interactive journey, the experience encourages participation at every step. From exploring material transformation at the Upcycled Museum to personalizing tote bags at the Repair Station, visitors are invited to engage directly. The Tree of Hope installation further amplifies collective voices, while dedicated Dropbox Stations make responsible waste disposal accessible and impactful.

Extending into circular design, the Product Pop-Up features exclusive collaborations with green innovators, where each purchase contributes to environmental initiatives, including tree planting. In parallel, 10% of proceeds support the Liberty Society Foundation, advancing programs that empower women from marginalized communities—embedding social impact within every layer of the experience.

As part of the ARTCYCLE series, panel discussions and a special Earth Day opening on 22 April 2026 reinforce a shared commitment to sustainability. For Liberty Society and MOP Beauty—founded by Tasya Farasya—this marks a meaningful step toward scaling circular innovation. At ASHTA, it is more than an installation—it is a collective movement toward a more conscious future.
